About me

I focus on expanding the scope of democracy and democratic processes in society, and empowering local communities to advance transformative change.

As Programme Manager and Community Advisor, I ensure Korimako’s operational excellence in programme and grant management, and contribute to our support for new, democratic and citizen-led initiatives.

In my career I have worked for and collaborated with various domestic and international NGOs, public institutions, and schools in Slovenia – with the aim of building a more equitable, more sustainable and more democratic society.

Expertise and Experience

I have 10 years of experience in building and implementing participatory democracy models in Slovenia, working with various communities, especially schools and local authorities and decision makers. I bring experience in: 
  • Activating local communities with a focus on young people.
  • Active citizenship and participatory democracy processes.
  • Building democratic community-based models and structures.
  • Project and programme management.
  • Providing analysis and research on topics. 
  • Grant management,evaluation and reporting.
