Supporting development of community placemaking in SE Europe.
Korimako co-ordinated the Placemaking for Citizen-led Missions in SE Europe (PLACE) project, working with PUSH, Association KLIK (Now KORAK), and Placemaking Europe to design and deliver a series of local placemaking processes in Slovenia, Croatia and Sicily; along with a number of international learning and capacity building events. The PLACE project focussed on how placemaking can help to unlock radical community change, advancing the Placemaking for Civic Imagination stream of Thriving Communities.

The PLACE project ran from September 2022 to March 2024 and was funded through the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme of the European Union. A requirement of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme is to publish the Event Description Sheets for each event that was held under the PLACE project.
