A mission-led approach helps us to find ways to achieve the speed and scale of systemic change that we must achieve, if our communities will genuinely thrive through the 21st century.

We help community-leaders and organisations to use a mission-led approach to reframe, rethink and reorganise around what is really needed – rather than what we currently think is possible.

We provide advice, coaching, and training courses to support organisations and communities to work through systemic processes of Mission-led Change.

Our mission-led support services help community-leaders and their organisations to:

  • Understand what it takes to use a mission-led approach to systemic change, and to reframe their ways of working and organising.
  • Develop the skills and mindsets needed for adopting a mission-led approach to radical change.
  • Create powerful missions that capture imagination and commitment
  • Understanding and map current systems – challenges, assets, stakeholders, leverage points and plausible pathways for change.
  • Develop portfolios, programmes and projects that are integrated into a strategic mission pathways.
  • Learn, innovate and adapt in ways that are consistent with a mission-led approach

Why

To meet the challenges of the 21st century, our communities need to make rapid, far-reaching and unprecedented changes. Otherwise, we face compounding social and ecological crises.

The need for such radical change has been clear for some time, yet our communities are still only managing slow, incremental and fragmented change.

We need change that addresses the systemic challenges that we face, and their underlying drivers. We need to find better ways of working together and making radical change happen.

A mission-led approach to transformative change demands that we commit to audacious missions and finding ways to achieve them. This requires a massive shift in our mindsets. It means working very differently to how most of us have been trained and rewarded to operate. This demands that we build our capacities to adopt and pursue mission-led change.

Korimako therefore specialises in supporting  leaders to develop these capacities and mindset for mission-led change.
