Helping Brent Council to develop municipal energy enterprise plans.

Development and aggregation of new municipal energy projects, commercialisation strategy and business planning for London Borough of Brent, including new district energy system projects, solar PV installations and a ‘white label’ energy retailing partnership. 

This work helped Brent Council to consider the potential for getting beyond incremental energy projects and towards development of a municipal energy company model that could attract investment and deliver climate action at scale. As a result a new permanent Energy Manager position was created to take this work into the future and a district energy development as initiated.
